Holme Lock Sanctuary

This spot near Holme Lock is really fascinating, it sits at the end of seldomly walked path along the River Trent, surrounded by the water sports centre and the sight of the river locks. The space is separate yet vast as the river speeds past making it the ideal place to get away from the first lockdown, giving the space to breathe and be aware of the birds and the flow of the water.
